Announcing the winners of Your Art Here’s 2nd annual youth art billboard competition, Billboard Generation II, March 1st through April 1st.

March 2004, in celebration of National Youth Art Month, Your Art Here is pleased to present the winning artworks from Billboard Generation II. Eight different artworks made by students in grades 1–12 in response to the question “What would you like to tell your community?” are currently on display on billboards in Bloomington and in Indianapolis. Winning themes include the effects of pollution on our environment, diversity, and the importance of community involvement.

Your Art Here is a non-profit arts organization. The Billboard Generation II project is meant to encourage youth to think about how to enrich their community through visual dialogue. By offering young people public advertising spaces for personal expression, we hope to instill in them the desire, knowledge, and confidence that will allow them to engage their community and world throughout their lives.
